Danish Embassy
Social media strategy for the Danish Embassy in the Netherlands
Diplomacy has long ceased to be just physical. The Danish Embassy in the Netherlands wanted to strengthen its digital presence and use social media more strategically. The goal went beyond visibility alone: in addition to growth in reach and followers, there was a clear desire to create internal support for the effective use of social media. We worked closely with the embassy team and the ambassador to develop and implement a clear social media strategy. This strategy was aligned with diplomatic goals and included clear KPIs for growth and engagement.
We also acted as a sparring partner for the communications team, took care of the daily social media management and supported the promotion of events and activities. Through advisory reports, analyses and workshops, we ensured that knowledge was transferred and social media was structurally anchored within the team. As a full service marketing agency from The Hague, we combined strategy, social media marketing and consultancy into one cohesive approach.
