Content Collectiv processes personal data of its customers, prospects and other contact persons. This privacy statement explains which data Content Collectiv processes when, why and in which way.

When does Content Collectiv collect (personal) data?
This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal information and data provided by customers and other contact persons obtained when applying for and using our services. We use Google Analytics to collect personal data from website visitors. We further collect data when you request information, ask a question, respond to my website or otherwise interact with us.

What (personal) data does Content Collectiv process?
Content Collectiv collects contact data such as name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth and bank details, data relating to previous orders and use of my services. We also store contact history, such as when you ask a question through a contact form.

In addition to the personal data you yourself provide to Content Collectiv, additional personal data may be collected, recorded and processed about your use of services. Content Collectiv does not store traffic and location data, but does store your IP address. This concerns only data relating to your communication, not the communication itself. In addition, Content Collectiv uses Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel to gain insight into the Internet traffic of website visitors. This is not linked to your other personal data.

Provided you have signed up to be kept informed of tips and news we use Active Campaign or MailChimp. This requires your prior consent. Furthermore, we do not collect data about the devices you use, such as a unique device ID, the version of the operating system settings of the device you use to visit our website, or data about the use of my website(s), such as the time you visit us and the topics you view. Responses (opens and clicks) to our emails are also not recorded on an individual level.

Why does Content Collectiv process (personal) data?
Content Collectiv processes personal data in order to provide and improve its services. For example, we store data for account creation, requests for assignments, financial administrative processing and management of social channels. Content Collectiv also needs data when (being able to) answer questions, handle complaints and process any recoveries. After placing an order, a quote and invoice number will be linked to your account.

We keep the login name and password for your website and/or social channels. You can change these yourself or you can grant us access to the administrator side of your website if you deem it necessary.

Third-party recipients
Content Collectiv does not sell personal data to third parties.

Content Collectiv does use systems or services of third-party vendors, where it is possible that the vendor may also have access to our customers’ data, such as Google and Facebook.

For an application, assignment and possible use of a domain name, Content Collectiv fulfills a role as an intermediary (registrar). Your application will be passed on to the relevant registering authorities, such as the Stichting Internet Domeinregistratie Nederland (SIDN) and Versio. The authority decides on the allocation of your domain name. In order to facilitate registration, Content Collectiv will pass on your application data (contact information (name, e-mail address, telephone number and correspondence address) to these bodies.

Your rights

Under the AVG, everyone has a number of rights. You can request Content Collectiv to see what personal data we process about you. It is also indicated how and why we process those data. If Content Collectiv processes incorrect or incomplete data, we will adjust these at your request.

You can also request deletion. It may be that Content Collectiv is still obliged to process the data for other purposes (administration, fiscal retention obligation). If you suspect that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can also have that processing restricted. You can also object to the processing of your personal data for marketing or other purposes. The right to data portability is new under the AVG. You can ask Content Collectiv to transfer your personal data (or have it transferred). Finally, you can revoke a given consent to receive the newsletter or other processing.

Do you feel that Content Collectiv is not acting in accordance with privacy laws? Or if you have any comments or questions, we would of course love to hear from you. As of May 25, 2018, you can also file a complaint with the AP.

Security

Content Collectiv has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures and monitors and secures all its services (in)visibly against misuse and fraud. Content Collectiv also engages third parties in the performance of its services. Insofar as these third parties process (personal) data in the performance of the relevant services, they do so in the capacity of processors. The processor in question receives, of course, only the necessary data and is (contractually) obliged to maintain an appropriate level of security and to handle personal data with care. Moreover, personal data are not kept longer than necessary.

Amendment of Privacy Statement

Content Collectiv reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Statement.
